Underwear Care
How to wash your panties
In general we recommend washing your panties at 30 to 40 degrees; however, on some qualities of the fabrics you have to wash it by hand. Read the inside label of the garments carefully, if you wash it by hand or machine adjust it to a lower temperature or select a special wash cycle from your washing machine.
Always wash your panties with similar colored items. For black & red briefs we suggest you wash these colors separately. Patterned or embellished panties should be washed inside a bra bag if you use a washing machine.
Cotton/elastane briefs can be ironed but at a lower temperature. Do not iron panties with lace.
How to wash your bras
Hand wash or machine wash?
Do you usually wear padded bras? So we always recommend washing them by hand.
The best way to wash your bras is by hand. It's not only better for your bras but also for your washing machine. When you wash your bras by hand, it will last longer since it is better for the elastic fibers of your bra that are sure to stay in good condition for longer.
Tips on how to wash your bras by hand:
Sort and wash your bras by color (black, white, red and colored).
Use lukewarm water and preferably laundry detergent for silk and fine fabrics
Soak your bra for a couple of minutes instead of cleaning it roughly. However, don't let it soak too long (especially when washing multicolored bras).
Rinse your bra with cold water.
Tips on how to wash your bras in the washing machine
(if you prefer washing machine to clean your bras)
If you wash your bras in the washing machine always use a bra bag.
Tip: Close the bra hooks to prevent damage to the fabric of your bra.
Sort and wash your bras by color (black, white, red and colored).
Do not wash bras at more than 30 degrees.
Preferably use laundry detergent for silk or fine fabrics and select a delicate wash cycle. Always follow the care instructions that are marked on the inside label of the garment so that your bra lasts longer.
Does your bra have any accessories? If so, please remove them before washing.
How often should I wash my bras?
This varies per person but on average it is good to wash your bra after wearing it 4-5 times.
How to dry a bra?
Never put your bra in the dryer. The bras are not resistant to high temperatures and you will lose elasticity and color among other things.
Never squeeze your bra because it will deform the shape of the cup.
The best way to dry a bra is to have it outdoors stretched out on the floor on top of a towel with the cups facing up and never iron your bras.
